These pine nuts are outstanding. My immediate reaction upon first taste was “These are the best pine nuts I’ve had in a LOOOOONG time…maybe almost ever?”I did not say this out loud, however and immediately sought out my spouse to try to see what their reaction would be…and they pretty much vocalized what I was thinking.Just to check ourselves, we pulled out an unopened bag that we recently picked up to do a side by side…and there was a HUGE difference in flavor and then aftertaste. The pine nuts we already had on hand we would normally toast and then mix into our favorite salad…so I suppose we never noticed it before, but the WIlderness Poets pine nuts were extremely delicious right out of the bag.These are a real treat, the pine nuts you want to use if you’re making a meal extra special.
