Walnut is a premium wood known for its beautiful look and strength. Due to the hardness of the material, the metal hooks for hanging your chimes cannot be screwed in by hand. The holes for the hooks must be pre-drilled on the front plate before installation. Attempting to install the hooks without pre-drilling may result in scratching or denting the face plate.

All holes needed for constructing the chimes are pre-drilled. Make sure to assemble the chime set before installing the metal hooks. Refer to the product photos for the best placement of the hooks, indicated in green. Alternatively, you can hang them from the underside of the face plate, though this may limit the chimes' ability to swing freely.
